Open Enrollment is Here!

And now the planning for next year begins.   If you need talking points to encourage someone to attend CCS, I think the two strongest are this:  our current batch of seniors has an average ACT score of 23.4, and students who spend at least seven years in our system average a 24 on the ACT.  There are a lot of other reasons–and probably better ones–to come to CCS, but those are nice, neat, easily communicated numbers for you to remember.

Here are some other  things you need to know:

1)  K5, 1st, 3/4, 5/6, and 12th are all classrooms which are near closing or closed (based on the current year’s numbers).  If you have a student moving into one of those rooms next year, understand that we’re just a couple of new students away from demand outpacing supply in those rooms.

2)  Our current number of re-enrolled students is 71 (and we’re not yet out of February!).  The next discount period for pay-in-fulls is 10% through March 8th.  If you’d like to take advantage of this opportunity to lower your tuition by paying up front, contact Eric Wilson.

3)  Recruitment bonuses are available for families who bring other families into CCS.  For more information, contact Eric Wilson or Debbie Collins.

4)  Our preliminary budget for 2012-2013 is based on 184 students.  We’ll call that Target One.  Our ultimate goal is to break the 200 mark, and our actual maximum capacity is 224.

If you know someone interested in attending CCS, you can always refer them to our Prospective Student Survey on the website.

As always, thanks for trusting us with your children.  We look forward to a productive Spring and Summer as we plan for August 2012.
