Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner!
We’re happy at CCS to answer any questions you or your student has about collegiate admissions, scholarships, or the process of transitioning out of high school and into postsecondary education. With students in over twenty collegiate institutions, most of whom earned some form of academic or leadership scholarship, we’re quite proud of our school’s academic and collegiate record.
Below are a few links that are essential for navigating your way through the transition out of high school:
- The CCS Diploma Worksheet allows you to make sure you’re taking the required classes for your chosen diploma type.
- The CCS College Bound Handbook contains all the information you need, including a timeline of important milestones and meetings you should be scheduling with your counselor.
- Here’s a copy of a presentation we gave to parents this summer that covers common financial aid questions. (Thanks to Samford for providing most of it!)
If you ever have any questions about collegiate admissions, career counseling, or standardized testing, please contact our Guidance Counselor, Cindy Sims, at 205-669-7777 or email@example.com
